    Copyright & Content Protection

    Last updated: March 2026

All content on SiteKiln is copyright-protected, digitally fingerprinted and not available for commercial use without written permission.

    Ownership

© 2026 Kiln Guides Ltd. All rights reserved.

Every guide, template, reference card, tool description, use-case description and piece of original writing on SiteKiln was created by or commissioned by Kiln Guides Ltd (publisher; company registration in progress). None of it is sourced from public domain material. None of it is available under any open licence.

This includes — but is not limited to:

    • The 496 plain-English guides
    • The 229 downloadable templates and checklists
    • All tool descriptions, results text and explanatory copy
    • All 28 reference cards
    • PDFs generated by our document builders (RAMS, Method Statements, Handover Packs, Site Diaries, Toolbox Talks, etc.) — the structure, wording, layout and branding of these outputs are our copyright
    • Page layouts, section descriptions and category copy
    • The SiteKiln name, logo and brand identity

    Digital fingerprinting

Every piece of content on SiteKiln contains invisible digital watermarks embedded at the character level. These fingerprints are unique to each page, cannot be removed by copying and pasting, and allow us to cryptographically verify the origin of any content that appears elsewhere.

If our content is reproduced — whether on a website, in a PDF, in an app, or in an AI training dataset — we can prove it came from SiteKiln.

We actively monitor for unauthorised reproduction.

    What you can do

    • Read and reference our content for your own personal or professional use — that's what it's here for.
    • Link to any page on SiteKiln. We encourage it.
    • Quote briefly (a sentence or two) with clear attribution and a direct link back to the original SiteKiln page.
    • Share links to our pages on social media, forums, WhatsApp groups — however you like.

    What you cannot do

    • Copy, reproduce or republish our guides, templates or any substantial portion of our content — in any format, on any platform — without written permission.
    • Scrape, crawl or bulk-download our content using automated tools, bots, browser extensions or AI training pipelines.
    • Feed our content into AI models — whether for training, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or any other machine learning purpose.
    • Repackage our content into competing products, apps, PDFs, courses, newsletters or social media content.
    • Remove, alter or attempt to strip any copyright notices, digital fingerprints or attribution.
    • Use our content commercially in any way — including in paid courses, subscription services, client deliverables or resale products — without a written licence.

This applies regardless of whether you credit SiteKiln. Attribution does not equal permission.

    AI and scraping

SiteKiln's robots.txt explicitly blocks all known AI training crawlers including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, CCBot, and others. Crawling our content in violation of these directives is unauthorised access.

If your AI product, tool or service has ingested SiteKiln content without permission, you are in breach of our copyright. Contact us immediately at hello@kilnguides.co.uk to resolve this.

    Reporting unauthorised use

If you find SiteKiln content reproduced without permission, please let us know:

    • Email: hello@kilnguides.co.uk
    • Subject line: Content infringement report
    • Include: The URL of the infringing page and the original SiteKiln page it was copied from.

    We take every report seriously.

    Takedown process

    1. We verify the infringement using our digital fingerprinting system.
    2. We contact the infringing party with a formal takedown request.
    3. If not resolved within a reasonable timeframe, we file a DMCA takedown notice with the hosting provider, search engine or platform.
    4. We reserve the right to pursue further legal action where appropriate, including claims for damages.

    Licensing

If you'd like to licence SiteKiln content for use in training materials, apps, publications or any other commercial purpose, contact us at hello@kilnguides.co.uk with:

    • What content you want to use
    • How you intend to use it
    • The audience and distribution

We're reasonable people. If it helps tradespeople, we'll probably say yes. But you need to ask first.
